Paradise Mountain
Nestled in Valley Center, our clients are true California enthusiasts with a love for native plants, birds, and breathtaking 360-degree views, including the historic Guejito Ranch. To capture the magic of this view, we commissioned a local artist to paint the landscape. This stunning piece now takes center stage above the family room fireplace, flanked by a pair of vintage brass quails that add just the right touch of whimsy. Throughout the home, you'll continue to find a curated collection of native artwork, handcrafted pottery, and woven baskets that tell a story. In the formal living room, we took a unique twist, blending our native theme with subtle Asian-inspired elements to incorporate their treasures from the Philippines.
Our goal was to create an updated traditional feel with an airy, open ambiance, and incorporate soft curves into the furniture pieces. The dining room, however, called for a bolder approach. Inspired by the rich dark tones of their Persian rug, we transformed this space into a vibrant cavern. We found the perfect Roman shade fabric and designed a dining table with striking arched legs that subtly disappear into the rug, while a bespoke hutch provides the ideal backdrop for our delicate stoneware collection. By focusing on the details and embracing the natural beauty of the surroundings, we've created a home that not only meets but exceeds our clients' expectations. It's a space that truly reflects their love for California's heritage & their personal style.
